Default Helena Jolly Educational Fund

On October 14, 2008 we lost a member of the SkiNC family. Jon Jolly, aka parisandrewsdaddy, was great friend to many people on the messageboard, and he was a great asset to the messageboard in general. Jon was a very giving person, and he went out of his way to help people out with gear, information, etc.

Now it is our chance to give back to him by contributing to his daughter's educational fund. I can't think of a better way to honor our friend than to help with his daughter's education.

Benefit of Helena Jolly Educational Fund c/o Piedmont Federal 16 West 3rd Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.

Thanks.

Any idea how long we are going to keep this open? I will be making a donation, but I'm seriously broke at the moment.

I say we let it go for at least a month. That would allow people to be a little more flexible.

Long time no post... new messageboard. This is really a great cause and I hope everyone who can will contribute. I still need to send mine but will be doing so ASAP.

RIP Jolly, not sure what I will do without you this summer...

Update:

Currently at $1,200! Thanks to all who have donated. I hope that we can double or triple it before we send it in.

To those who have donated,

I will have a tax ID number associated with the new account that I created for this money. I will be able to send receipts for your tax records.

I was not fortunate enough to know Jon, but my condolences to his family and those that did know him. This educational fund is a great way to reach out... I am definitely willing to donate. I'm just curious, how old is his daughter and what grade is she in?
